Proud Bird
« on: February 22, 2012, 09:12:15 PM »
There is a Restaurant in Los Angeles called Proud Bird. It is located on Aviation Blvd. adjacent LAX. The Food is excellent. It is also an avitaion museum. Almost all significant squadrons from WWI and WWII both allies and Axis are represented with historical photos and information. Even the wright Bros. and Lindberg. Many aircraft are on display. Many, many actual photos of squadron pilots .. mostly famous.. some are signed photos. What a great place to have lunch.

Attached a few photos I took with my phone. They have a P38 and a P47... I had forgotten just how big the P47 is! They also have a ME-109... The Fokker and Spad look like Mock-Ups ...the rest of the planes are the real thing
