General Discussion / Finally got my SSD on Intel IastorV Drivers!

Took a while to figure out how to do it, there seems to be 2 issues I had to resolve.
1) Had to enable the IastorV in the registry
found out how to do this with a Microsoft fix http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922976

2) For some reason it would not work in ACHI mode, only when I went into BIOS and changed to RAID mode will Windows boot up

Did it help? Check out the screens...small increase but it is an increase

The TS3 server went down this morning, Hammer sent a message that even with a reboot it would not come back online.
Not sure why, but have to wait for him to send me the IP so I can log in and check out the problem.

Well Sheet....They have modeled the sonic boom... when you go super sonic...it becomes eerrily quiet inside the cockpit.... Pretty cool

We did several flybys to listen to the sonic boom...  before the "mission" to check out the ceiling.... think we hit 57000 ft

DCS World Mods / Comparison of Very High, High, and Medium settings

If you haven't tried various settings in game, it stands to reason you don't know the difference. Sometimes you set the settings, not knowing the difference if there is any change once you are flying.
These are subtle differences in the stock settings, but the Very High setting never ceases to amaze me when I fly. It really sets the "spark" to say "This sim looks amazing."
I know that most of the people I fly with have the horsepower in their video card to use these settings, but it may not be appropriate for everyone.
Below are some pictures for comparison, Very high-High-Medium. I do not think anyone wants to run at Low  >:(
I chose a early morning screen because the lights are worth seeing.

Just a good rainy day CA map, planes are available too
Version 2 is posted;
  • added choppers to be spawned by triggers
  • added breifing to mission
  • Picture added to breifing
  • addition of Game Master to control Red group
  • 2 JFAC additions to units...not sure how it works though
