DSC A10C Missions / Destroy Ships: My first mission
« on: March 03, 2011, 08:49:38 PM »
a simple 4-player mission and just the beginning of a bigger campaign

Our aircraft carrier is attempting to replenish supplies at Sukhumi.
The insurgents are attempting to block any further access to Sochi-Adler and have moved into position off of Gudauta.
Four ships are reported to be staging a push to form a blockade between Sukhumi and Gudauta.
Ground forces will be moving out tomorrow from Sukhumi to help secure Gudauta, with supplies from the carrier, but we need the blockade destroyed before insurgent air forces move in to protect them.
If they are successful with securing the blockade, our access to Sochi-Adler could be in jeopardy.

Red Objective:
Block access from US ships between Sukhumi and Gudauta, if successful, air cover will help strengthen the hold on the area and Sochi-Adler's role in the conflict will be minimized

Blue Objective:
Destroy ships before air cover can be provided.
Weather conditions will not be known until flight time.
Waypoint 3 will be your attack point, your flight time allows time to review air to ship tactics, and you will not last long without a good strategy to destroy the ships.
Hopefully your air to ground skills will be proficient to get you to a safe landing at Sochi-Adler.
Good Luck

Weather is set to Dynamic, so I have no clue what it will be like for your flight

Version 2 is
OK, version 3 is now out, tested in multiplayer and works well, finally was able to launch some MAVS, not sure how i did it but I did  :-\

DCS A10C HELP!!! / 32 bit system crashes
« on: March 02, 2011, 07:13:50 PM »
Never could figure out why, thought it was a DirectX issue from the errors but seems it is a memory issue.
My fix was founde here

Solution was to open the command (cmd) and type the following

Type bcdedit /set increaseuserva 3072 into it and reboot.

This sets the user memory to 3Gb if you have a 32 bit system...

I am posting this for myself in case I need it again  ;D

Falcon AF / Skunkworks Mod
« on: March 01, 2011, 12:13:56 AM »

Hello fellow F4 Allied Force players. I am here to inform you all of the latest release of the F4AF Modification SkunkWorks. This is a massive database modification for Falcon 4.0 Allied Force. It includes new munitions, models, skins, campaigns, hires effects.

The Skunkworks Mod. A full blown effort to unlock the full potential of AF by increasing landscape & object detail, adding new aircraft & weapons, upgrading payload capabilities, fixing a number of glitches regarding aircraft, correcting all aspects of realism & a whole slew of things that will do nothing but enhance the experience of what we love to do. To Fly.

This project is not an attempt to rewrite the code or to make a new variant of Falcon like OF or FF, but to bring AF to the glory that it should be.

The installer is really quite simple it installs just as would any aftermarket campaign.

Looks like there is a new version of the mod out

General Discussion / Windows and stuff

Got a new Hard Drive should be here Monday, so not reallly going to put too much time into configuring this version of Win7 64...just to have to do it again!
But I have loaded DSC A10C and teamspeak...will probably flip back and forth between my two operating systems until I get it all completed.
