This P51D Skin was inspired by the plane flown by 2nd Lt. J. F. "Hondo Kid" Baumann who flew the P51 A, C & D with the 52nd Fighter Group 5th, Fighter Squadron A flight based in Italy during WWII.

The flight was recorded with FRAPS real time start to finish with no video editing.

This was done to showcase the plane and skin.

This for Lt. Baumann's son Fred, a long time friend.

Thanks to Alisdair Fisher for making the Skin for DCS.
