DCS World Missions / 190 Mission

Based on the Melanic Cow mission, this substitutes the F-86 with the Fw-190's and the Mig-15 with the P51

All the scripts are the same, changed the number of planes in a CAP to 2 and the Cap reaction to dynamic (so hopefully you get 1 P-51 at a time)

Hostile aircraft will be flying CAP, and flak has also been reported.
Scripted mission for enemy and friendly sorties.
Engage as required
Conflict between F-86 and the MiG-15's

Version 2 includes
adjusting AI pilot skill to Average rather than Random
Added Dynamic weather script

Just ran accross this and thought I would post the link and picture here for future reference.
Seems to center the "normal" view better than the center indent

Known issue: Stuttering/Jittering when using the Warthog Throttle Slider for zoom in DCS.

If you have Stuttering or Jittering with the Throttle slider on the warthog HOTAS... Go into the Target GUI and turn the LEDs all the way up or off. This will eliminate the Jitter when Zooming.

P-51 Missions / P51 Bombing Practice

The mission was built with unlimited ammo....not sure if you have to turn yours on or not for it to work, but mission should drive it.

General Discussion / New furniture addition

Son going to college so we set out to find him a cheap second hand dresser for his house. After looking at a few cheap (and I mean cheap) we ran up on this one just browsing the store.
Compared to the "New" models, this was relatively cheap, but not as cheap as we were planning. I actually walked away from it a few times, the last time I glanced back at it from a distance, I knew I had to buy it.
I don't think I have admired a piece of furniture like I have this one, and I have built many pieces.
So we are giving him the old one in this room I call my "computer room" (probably because there are 6 computer cases in it) and this one will become my constant companion. I have to admit I really liked it. All wood, big roomy drawers, dust dividers under every chest, dovetail joints, corner blocks everywhere, outlays on each drawer that creates a "frame" look, fantastic artwork...good deal.

1) A large group formation flying in the Huey

Shelts P51 after landing...I nipped his rudder with my prop...good job making it back!

six f15s lined up after landing..I flew formation with them in the aerobatic server.

Not my mission, found on the forum, and modified, I guess, by Frumpy
I did some modifications myself such as, but not limited to:

1) Removed the stupid ass SAMs
2) Changed the stupid ass time of the mission start (so you can see the smoke, doh!)
3) Added mini guns and rockets to the "warm" start Huey 1 and Huey 2, so they can lead the way in.
4) Removed Huey 1 and Huey 2's ability to pick up troops, as that is not their function and would exceed weight restrictions
5) Changed 5 and 6 to "hot" start
6) Added much better music to fly by...but at a larger mission size cost
7) Changes made to description text
8.) addition of 2 hot and 2 cold start P-51's
9) Addition of choosing a radio channel so the P-51's can now enjoy their own independant entertainment.
10) compressed music and now includes over 40 minutes of new material and smaller file size
11) fixed where pilots can select FOB and start music for either the P51 or Huey only ONCE! After that all you have to do is select "Home" or button A or B to hear the soundtrack. Keeps from someone restarting the tunes mid way through.
12) Changed message to display the correct radio channel for Huey and P51's
13) Changed music to include Viet era radio comms
14) added "Morning Wood" skin to Huey 1 & 2

To Do:

1) Add ground vehicles battle somewhere in the mission after a few bases are cleared
2) Add troops spawn when vehicles are destroyed and request Medevac - this is available in Mist, may integrate

Huey 1 and Huey 2:
Make your rockets and guns count!!! You can reload at the FARP, that is a long time to leave your fellow chopper pilots alone transporting troops.

Plans are to make additional changes to an entire "war" development.

Here is the very high visible range mod set up for JSGME attached below

It also contains the correct file change for the "New Roads" in the config.lua. You will need to get the Mod Meg uploaded for New Roads, he moddified it to be correct.

I also included Mustangs "High" lua for the visible range.

This works with DCS 1.2.4.12547 update
